Another art project

Have a stack of 5 sheets of paper. Each sheet of paper is separated by a space. Each sheet has some iron filings on it. Underneath the stack of paper is a large magnet.

Each sheet of paper will reveal a different slice of the magnetic field. Maybe make the sheets of paper transparent, like glass. It will be trippy to see the three dimensional force revealed in several two dimensional slices.

Maybe make a system of stackable containers which contain iron fillings. Users could examine individual layers when they are separated. Connect the same corner of each layer together. Allow layers to pivot. Imagine a circular staircase.
