Long time since a post. I have moved and have been doing daily meditations.
If you had the technology to create gold for free, what would you do with it? You would probably create a bunch of gold and then buy a bunch of stuff. Would you share the technology so everyone could create gold? If you did gold would have no value. You need to perpetuate that gold is scarce so you can continue to get stuff for it. But why do you want to get that stuff. To impress the ladies? To have control over people? To get people to do what you want?
Maybe that's what the people in control want. Make things scarce so we do what they want.
