Create a piece of art

A man kneeling and praying towards a ball of light. In between the man and the light is a veil of darkness.  It is two dimensional, translucent, and in the shape of the devil. Arms are outstretched both grabbing and blocking the light. The man does not fully notice the shadow creature. He looks through it as if it were no there.
