With life, things don't want to be caged/bottled/restricted. They will find any method to get out. They do not have the wisdom that the area they escape to may be more dangerous. If a pet hamster escapes the house it will not survive long. At the same time it is not natural to lock up a hamster in the house. Nature finds a way to bring balance. We may not like the natural balance. A good idea would be to use our intellect to find comfortable and harmonious ways to live in nature. It would have to be harmonious in the way that the life flourishes more with our participation. It is strange that the ancient civilizations seem primitive but lived in more harmony. In any sense nature seems to have covered up their tracks good. If our civilization stopped today what would the planet look like in a thousand years? Would out cities still exist or would nature reclaim the land?

Maybe we are given only enough power as we can handle. We have levels of power but we keep misusing the power. In our everyday life and at a governmental level. If we had an even higher level would we not abuse that power as well?  Maybe nature has built in a condition where you have to be good to gain the power. If you are not good you destroy yourself and you do not proceed/evolve. The only way to succeed is to help out all the people around us. That is good. We need to work with nature to provide what we need. We should not destroy things. How about we dig holes and put our houses in the holes. We can cover them and let nature grow over them. We can have an entrance and maybe a skylight. The underground house would be used in harsh weather. People would spend much time above ground but in a way that would work within nature.  Why did we destroy the native american way of life?  They had so much to teach us. We rejected things that could have made us better. We should not use tunnel vision when we make judgments on what someone has to offer and how we can make a fair trade to receive what they have. Some things may not seem valuable now but they may be in the future. Instead of judging in a way to determine what is beneficial for us now, we should objectively judge what is good about the culture. The problem is that good seems to be subjective to many people. We lie to ourselves about what is good when deep down we have a good idea what is good.  We need to choose the good. We need to discuss and determine what is good collectively. We need morals in a way that everyone understands what they are and why we choose to keep them.
