More 3D mouse ideas

Have three strings attached to the finger in a pyramid shape. The strings are attached to a retractor. Position can be determined by how much string is let out of each retractor.


Have a ball suspended in a magnetic field. Maybe have a small magnet inside the ball. Determine the force placed on the ball by monitoring the pull of the magnet.


Gyroscope mouse. Have a device with three gyroscopes inside. They can track the movement in space. Could be wireless and rechargeable. Could have a few buttons on the ball. Maybe just 2 and a scroll wheel to start. When the ball is sitting on the surface it works as a mouse. When it is picked up it functions in 3D.


Can just use two mice. One for each hand. 2 mice = 3D.
