Could it be possible to map out why the catholic religion evolved the way it did by tracing major decisions faced by the church and examining the options that were not chosen?

There must be some underlying structure which is not related to love of god and love of neighbor.


If the jesus story existed before jesus, what is different in this iteration of it.


What is the first recorded idea of hell?  It must have existed before the jewish religion. How is the jewish hell different that other hells?  Did the jewish religion always describe a judgmental god that punishes if his wishes are not obeyed?

Is it a coincidence that hitler chose to conden the jews and burn them in fire just as the jewish god condemns man to burn in hell?  What did hitler believe in jesus?
